The API returns detailed information about a Twitter account, including the username, full name, bio, profile photo, account creation date, location, external links, follower count, tweet count, verification status, account type, and engagement metrics like list additions and featured tweets.
Key fields in the response include "username," "full_name," "bio," "profile_photo," "followers_count," "tweets_count," "verification_status," and "account_type." Each field provides specific insights into the account's identity and activity.
The response data is structured in a JSON format, with each key representing a specific attribute of the Twitter account. This allows for easy parsing and integration into applications, enabling developers to access relevant information efficiently.
The API provides information such as user demographics (location, account type), engagement metrics (followers, tweets), and verification details (traditional and business verification). This comprehensive data supports various analytical and monitoring needs.
Users can customize their requests by specifying the desired username in the API call. Currently, the API does not support additional parameters for filtering or modifying the response, focusing solely on the specified account's data.
Typical use cases include social media monitoring, influencer identification, online reputation management, identity verification, and digital behavior analysis. The data helps businesses and researchers understand user engagement and influence on Twitter.
Data accuracy is maintained by sourcing information directly from Twitter's platform, ensuring that the details retrieved reflect the most current state of the account. Regular updates from Twitter help uphold the integrity of the data provided.
If the API returns partial or empty results, it may indicate that the specified username does not exist or is private. Users should verify the username's correctness and consider handling such cases gracefully in their applications, possibly by providing user feedback.
To obtain your API key, you first need to sign in to your account and subscribe to the API you want to use. Once subscribed, go to your Profile, open the Subscription section, and select the specific API. Your API key will be available there and can be used to authenticate your requests.
You can’t switch APIs during the free trial. If you subscribe to a different API, your trial will end and the new subscription will start as a paid plan.
If you don’t cancel before the 7th day, your free trial will end automatically and your subscription will switch to a paid plan under the same plan you originally subscribed to, meaning you will be charged and gain access to the API calls included in that plan.
The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
No, the free trial is available only once, so we recommend using it on the API that interests you the most. Most of our APIs offer a free trial, but some may not include this option.
Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial that allows you to make up to 50 API calls at no cost, so you can test our APIs without any commitment.
