With this API you will be able to know your visitor's IP so you can have more information about your traffic sources. Also, you can check the IP and location of a domain of your preference, if it's available information.
Depending on the endpoint you use, you either will be automatically receiving the IP of the visitor. Other endpoints ask for the specific IP address, that you previously collected, and will provide exhaustive information about location, type of connection, and more. This also works with the Domain endpoint.
The goal of this API is for you to know better the sources of your site traffic. You can dynamically know where your user is located by adding this API to your code, and later store this information so you can segment your traffic and make decisions about it.
Also, if you want to know more in-depth about a domain's information, you can check where the IP is located.
Besides API call limitations per month, all the plans work the same.
With this endpoint, you will be able to retrieve the IP information from your site visitor.
You will be receiving country, city, state, province, local currency, latitude and longitude, company detail, ISP lookup, language, zip code, country calling code, time zone, current time, sunset and sunrise time, moonset and moonrise time.
Just call this endpoint in your code and you will be getting all the data!

Each endpoint returns detailed geolocation data based on IP addresses or domains. This includes information such as country, city, state, latitude, longitude, timezone, currency, and ISP details, among others.
Key fields include "continent," "country," "city," "latitude," "longitude," "timezone," "currencyName," and "org." These fields provide essential information about the location and characteristics of the IP or domain queried.
The response data is structured in JSON format, with key-value pairs representing various attributes. For example, a response might include "city": "Ashburn" and "country": "United States," making it easy to parse and utilize programmatically.
Each endpoint provides information such as geographical location (city, state, country), timezone, currency details, and ISP information. The Domain endpoint also returns similar data for the queried domain's IP.
Data accuracy is maintained through regular updates from reliable sources, including IP registries and geolocation databases. This ensures that the information reflects current IP allocations and geographical data.
Typical use cases include analyzing website traffic sources, personalizing user experiences based on location, and conducting market research. Businesses can segment users by location to tailor marketing strategies effectively.
Users can customize requests by specifying the IP address or domain they wish to query. For the visitor IP detector, no parameters are needed, while the other endpoints require the specific IP or domain as input.
Standard data patterns include consistent fields across responses, such as "country" and "city" for valid IPs. For domains, expect similar fields, but some may return null values if the domain's location is not resolvable.
To obtain your API key, you first need to sign in to your account and subscribe to the API you want to use. Once subscribed, go to your Profile, open the Subscription section, and select the specific API. Your API key will be available there and can be used to authenticate your requests.
You can’t switch APIs during the free trial. If you subscribe to a different API, your trial will end and the new subscription will start as a paid plan.
If you don’t cancel before the 7th day, your free trial will end automatically and your subscription will switch to a paid plan under the same plan you originally subscribed to, meaning you will be charged and gain access to the API calls included in that plan.
The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
No, the free trial is available only once, so we recommend using it on the API that interests you the most. Most of our APIs offer a free trial, but some may not include this option.
Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial that allows you to make up to 50 API calls at no cost, so you can test our APIs without any commitment.
Zyla API Hub is like a big store for APIs, where you can find thousands of them all in one place. We also offer dedicated support and real-time monitoring of all APIs. Once you sign up, you can pick and choose which APIs you want to use. Just remember, each API needs its own subscription. But if you subscribe to multiple ones, you'll use the same key for all of them, making things easier for you.
