The Domain Track Record API is an application programming interface that allows developers to programmatically access and retrieve information from the Whois database.
The GET Whois Domain endpoint returns comprehensive details about a specified domain, including registrant information, registrar details, domain status, creation and expiration dates, and administrative contacts.
Key fields in the response include "domain_name," "registrar," "creation_date," "registrant_organization," "domain_status," and "registrar_abuse_contact_email," providing essential insights into the domain's identity and management.
The response data is structured in JSON format, with key-value pairs representing various attributes of the domain. This allows for easy parsing and integration into applications.
This endpoint provides information such as domain registration details, ownership data, registrar information, domain status, and historical registration dates, essential for domain management and cybersecurity.
Users can customize their requests by specifying the domain URL in the endpoint parameter. This allows for targeted queries to retrieve information for specific domains of interest.
The data is sourced from the Whois database, which is maintained by domain registrars and registries. This ensures that the information is up-to-date and reflects the current status of domain registrations.
Data accuracy is maintained through regular updates from registrars and adherence to ICANN regulations. The API provides the most recent WHOIS records, ensuring users access current information.
Typical use cases include verifying domain ownership, conducting cybersecurity investigations, monitoring brand protection efforts, and performing market research for competitive analysis.

You can’t switch APIs during the free trial. If you subscribe to a different API, your trial will end and the new subscription will start as a paid plan.
If you don’t cancel before the 7th day, your free trial will end automatically and your subscription will switch to a paid plan under the same plan you originally subscribed to, meaning you will be charged and gain access to the API calls included in that plan.
The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
