Electric Stations China API provides comprehensive, real-time information on electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the country. It is designed to help users locate nearby stations with detailed data on each station's status, connector types, power output, availability, address, and other location-specific attributes. This tool is ideal for electric vehicle drivers, app developers, mobility services, and sustainability platforms looking to integrate up-to-date charging infrastructure data into their systems.
Each entry returned by the API includes a unique ID, station name, formatted address, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), and a direct link to Google Maps. The data also provides an accurate breakdown of the connectors available at each location, listing types such as CHAdeMO, CCS, and GB/T. For each connector, the response includes the total number of units, how many are currently available, their power capacity in kilowatts (kW), and a speed category (e.g., Very Fast, Fast, Medium, Slow). This allows users to instantly assess whether a station meets their charging needs.
You will also have optional parameters where you can indicate:
Type: returns EV charging stations with connectors of one or more types, specified as a comma-delimited (,) list of connector types that must match e.g. (CHAdeMO, J1772, CCS).
available: Searches for EV charging stations with an available connector (true or false).
min_kw: Restrict the result to availability for connectors with a specific minimum power value in kilowatts (closed interval - with that value).
max_kw: Restricts the result to the availability for connectors with a specific maximum power value in kilowatts (closed interval - with that value).
query: Returns EV charging stations matching a specific query or keyword (evgo, tesla, chargepoint, for example).
