When we contacted support, they said this had always been the rate limit and they had experienced an \"oversight\" in enforcing it on our account. They refused to refund us even though we had just renewed our subscription not 10 days ago. \n\nI would recommend using literally any other service. We went with metalpriceapi.com who turned out to be 91.7% cheaper than the plan we were herded into by metals-api. I tested their API responses and their data is in parity with metals-api over the past 18 months (thats as far as I tested). I am extremely dissatisfied with how they handle their customers, especially when it comes to modifying packages.\n\nRecently, I wanted to upgrade my package, but to my surprise, Zyla Labs did not provide an option to simply upgrade my current package. Instead, I was forced to sign up for an entirely new package. This is completely unreasonable and nonsensical. Why should I have two separate packages when all I wanted was to upgrade my existing one?\n\nAs a result, I now find myself in a situation where I unnecessarily have two packages with Zyla Labs. But that's not the only issue. When I decided to cancel my package, I was met with another disappointment. Zyla Labs immediately blocked my access to the API, even though I had already paid for a year. This means that not only have I lost my money for the entire year, but I also no longer have access to the API.\n\nThis is an utterly unacceptable way of doing business. Customers should, at the very least, have the right to modify their packages without being coerced into signing up for additional ones. Furthermore, blocking API access after cancellation is completely unfair and unprofessional.\n\nOverall, I cannot recommend Zyla Labs' Metals API integration. Their lack of flexibility and their treatment of customers make it a worthless experience.
